Protecting ordinary lives in the Middle East
We started issuing safety messages within hours of the first air strike in Gaza last October. We continue to communicate up-to-date, relevant safety messages online, as well as supporting the delivery of life-saving lessons in person where possible.
We are also assisting the wider humanitarian response in Gaza and Lebanon by training humanitarian workers. Those working on the front lines need information on how to safely navigate the dangers of unexploded bombs so they can deliver vital humanitarian aid.
It is vital that people know how to stay safe. Explosives can be hard to spot, so its important they know what to look out for.
