Technical Operations Manager - Cambodia

The total salary package for this position is approximately £63,484- £70,010 ($100,198- $110,498 USD)* including basic salary, programme management allowance and per diem.

MAG is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to lead technical operations in Cambodia, one of MAG's longest established programmes.

This is a permanent position with a start date as soon as possible.

As the senior technical representative in country, you will be responsible for leading and safely managing all mine clearance and EOD operations, as well as leading a team of national and international staff.

Working closely with and reporting to the Country Director, you will provide high quality technical input into proposals and reports, liaise with donors, and government agencies.

As a member of the Programme Senior Management Team you will need to demonstrate considerable experience of working strategically and ensuring the quality and efficiency of MAG's clearance work. 

You will be responsible for managing projects across geographically diverse and challenging sites and therefore you will need excellent planning, management and monitoring skills. A patient, tactful and diplomatic approach will be required in this challenging environment.

Accommodation:  MAG will provide accommodation in-country.

Leave: We recognise our staff work hard and need the appropriate time out to stay motivated. You'll have a minimum of six weeks out of the programme per year and your entitlement rises with service.

Flights: MAG provides three international flights per year.
